Our Staff

Staff at Kanssas Home Care provides friendly and flexible support in Islington, Haringey Hackney, Enfield, Camden and the surrounding area to a wide range of individuals, including older people, people with a learning disability, people with physical and sensory disabilities, people with mental health needs and people with substance dependency needs.

Our rigorous recruitment procedures ensure that we employ ideally suited candidates, personally interviewed by one of our trained consultants and thoroughly vetted to determine their skills and experience.

Our staff are all DBS checked and we regularly undertake quality assurance visits and quality control checks.

They are all trained in Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Medication Administration, and Health & Safety. In addition, all Care Workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining a QCF (former NVQ) in Health and Social Care.


Training

Kanssas Home Care is committed to delivering a quality service and understands the importance of our staff in enabling us to deliver the highest standards of care service. It is mandatory for all personal care assistants and support workers at Kanssas Home Care to undertake and complete our comprehensive Induction Programme before commencing any care duties. This will involve commitment and participation in on-going set programmes.
